## Frequently Asked Questions

### How do I get my chat ID?

Message @TweetCatcherMonitorBot and send /chat\_id. The bot will reply with the ID to enter in Tweet Catcher.

### Does it work in group chats?

Yes. Add the bot to the group, then send /chat\_id to get the group's ID. If Telegram upgrades the group to a supergroup, update the task with the new ID.

### How fast is it?

Telegram alerts arrive in under a second, and they're delivered even faster on Pro.

### Can it stay quiet unless a keyword matches?

Yes. Choose keywords that should trigger a sound. Other alerts can arrive silently, and excluded words can stop an alert from being sent.
